Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar Welcomes Pine Division Warriors After Successful Trekking Expedition
Ambala (Haryana) [India], September 1: Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, General Officer Commanding (GoC) of Kharga Corps, welcomed the Pine Division Warriors at Ambala Cantonment after their successful completion of the ‘Beyond The Horizon’ trekking expedition to Pin Parvati Valley in Himachal Pradesh. The expedition was organized to celebrate India’s 78th Independence Day.
Expedition Details
Led by Major Puneet Kumar, the 15-member team began their journey from Mud (3699 m) and trekked through the Pin Parvati Valley, touching Pin Pass (5320 m), Mantalai (4106 m), Odi Thatch (3754 m), Kheer Ganga (3099 m), and Manikaran (5318 m). The team completed the challenging 100 km trek in just nine days, demonstrating remarkable resilience, teamwork, and determination.

At the Kharga War Memorial ‘Vijay Smarak’, Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar congratulated the team for their glorious achievement, which represented the true spirit of the Kharga Corps. The expedition aimed to promote the spirit of adventure and inclusiveness in the border areas.
