LG Manoj Sinha Visits Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine
On Sunday, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, visited the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. He prayed for the peace, prosperity, and progress of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Inauguration of New Yagyashala
During his visit, LG Sinha inaugurated a new Yagyashala facility at Bhawan. This facility has been meticulously designed to enhance spiritual practices and serve the religious needs of devotees. The Yagyashala, located near the old Bathing Ghat below the Atka area at the main Bhawan, features five Hawan Kunds spread across 1,600 square feet.
This new design allows 10 groups of pilgrims to perform Hawan Poojan simultaneously, compared to the previous limit of three groups. Additionally, an approach gallery with a covered area of 1,100 square feet has been created, which can accommodate more than 100 pilgrims during the Shat Chandi Mahayagya, conducted regularly during Navratras.
