Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha handed over an appointment letter to Renu Verma, the wife of Vijay Kumar, the bus driver killed in the Reasi terror attack. The ceremony took place at Raj Bhawan, with Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan and Kumar’s family present.

Vijay Kumar was driving a bus carrying pilgrims when terrorists attacked on June 9, causing the bus to plunge into a gorge. The attack resulted in nine deaths and over 30 injuries. Sinha assured the family of support and condemned the attack, promising justice.

Earlier, armed personnel from Pakistan crossed the Line of Control and fired on an Army post in Kupwara’s Machhal Sector, resulting in casualties on both sides.
