Lanka Premier League 2024: Exciting Cricket Action with Stars from Around the World
The fifth edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) will start on July 1, featuring international and Sri Lankan cricket stars. The tournament will be held at three iconic venues in Sri Lanka, with five teams competing.
Teams and Venues
The five teams – Colombo Strikers, Dambulla Sixers, Galle Marvels, Jaffna Kings, and Kandy – will play at:
- R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo
- Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium in Dambulla
- Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele, Kandy

- Glenn Phillips and Mark Chapman from New Zealand
- Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed from Bangladesh
- Shadab Khan and Agha Salman from Pakistan
- Andre Fletcher and Fabian Allen from West Indies
- Mohammad Nabi, Mujeeb Ur Rehman, and Noor Ahmad from Afghanistan
- Rilee Rossouw and Reeza Hendricks from South Africa

Schedule
The league stage runs from July 1 to 16, followed by playoffs starting on July 18, and the final on July 21.
