Lalu Prasad Yadav Visits Mukesh Sahni to Offer Condolences
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav arrived at the residence of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahni in Darbhanga to express his condolences for the tragic death of Sahni’s father, Jitan Sahani.
Jitan Sahani was found murdered at his ancestral house in Afzala village on July 16. The police have arrested four suspects, including the prime accused, Kazim Ansari. The other suspects are Sitare, Chhote Laheri, and Mohd. Azad.
The incident has intensified political discussions in Bihar. RJD spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav criticized the Nitish Kumar government, alleging a breakdown in law and order. He remarked, “No day goes by without a murder…The Chief Minister is in an unconscious state of mind.”
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary assured that action will be taken and the accused will be put behind bars. He stated, “The government stands with Mukesh Sahani’s family.”
