Lalu Prasad Yadav Predicts Fall of Modi Government by August

Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav claimed that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the Centre could fall by August and elections can happen anytime. He urged all party workers to be ready for elections.

RJD’s Foundation Day

Lalu Yadav made these remarks while addressing party workers on the RJD’s foundation day. He expressed satisfaction with the party’s performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Tejashwi Yadav’s Remarks

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for being against reservations. He highlighted that the Mahagathbandhan government raised the reservation quota to 75%, while the BJP stopped the reservation hike in Bihar.

Tejashwi Yadav also stated that the RJD is the only party that has neither compromised nor kneeled before the BJP, unlike Janata Dal (U), which allied with the BJP due to their greed for power.

RJD’s 28th Foundation Day

The RJD celebrated 28 years of its foundation, having been established on July 5, 1997. The BJP-led NDA won its third successive term in the Lok Sabha polls, with the NDA securing 293 seats and the BJP getting 240 seats.
