Lakshya Sen Aims for Bronze Against Lee Zii Jia at Paris Olympics
India’s ace shuttler Lakshya Sen will be eyeing a bronze medal as he faces Malaysia’s Lee Zii Jia in the men’s singles competition at the ongoing Paris Olympics on Monday. Sen lost to the reigning Olympic champion Victor Axelsen in the semifinals of the men’s singles competition on Sunday, with scores of 20-22, 14-21. Following this loss, Lakshya Sen will play a bronze medal match against Lee Zii Jia that will start at 6 PM IST.
Shooters Anant Jeet Singh and Maheshwari Chauhan will be in action at 12:30 PM IST, competing in the Skeet Mixed Team Qualification. If they qualify for the final, their match will be at 6:30 PM IST.
