KRIBHCO and Novonesis Team Up to Help Indian Farmers with New Biofertilizer

New Delhi, India, September 16: Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO) and Novonesis have signed an agreement to work together on agricultural biosolutions. This partnership aims to improve crop yields and soil quality for Indian farmers.
Introducing KRIBHCO Rhizosuper
In the first phase, farmers will get access to a new product called ‘KRIBHCO Rhizosuper’. This biofertilizer uses Novonesis’ special LCO (Lipo-chitooligosaccharides) Promoter Technology to help plants grow better and improve soil health.
M.R. Sharma, Managing Director of KRIBHCO, said that KRIBHCO Rhizosuper can increase crop yields by 12 to 17 percent and improve soil quality. He emphasized that the product will be affordable, priced at Rs 500-550 per acre.
Future Plans
KRIBHCO and Novonesis plan to bring more of Novonesis’ plant health solutions to India. Novonesis will also help KRIBHCO improve its biofertilizer production facilities.
