Muharram Security in Uttar Pradesh
Security Measures Announced
Kirit Rathod, Joint CP Law and Order of Uttar Pradesh, shared the security plans for Muharram. He mentioned that 12 companies of the Pradeshik Armed Constabulary (PAC) and Rapid Action Force (RAF) have been deployed. In June, the All India Shia Personal Law Board wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, requesting better security arrangements for Muharram processions to maintain law and order.
