After seeing the atmosphere here, I can say that the Mahayuti alliance will get a clear majority.”
Govinda also expressed his support, saying, “I pray to Mumbadevi that our candidate Shaina NC wins the election from here.” Shaina NC emphasized her commitment to “work for the people.”
Controversy Surrounding Arvind Sawant’s Remarks
Recently, a comment by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Arvind Sawant about Shaina NC caused controversy. While campaigning for Amin Patel, Sawant allegedly referred to Shaina as “imported maal,” suggesting that she was not suitable for the role. Sawant later apologized, claiming he was “deliberately targeted.” Shaina accused Amin Patel of laughing at the comment, but Patel stated that Sawant had apologized and Shaina accepted the clarification.

The Maharashtra Assembly elections are scheduled for November 20, with results to be announced on November 23. In the previous elections, the BJP, Shiv Sena, and Congress secured varying numbers of seats, with the BJP leading in both 2014 and 2019.
