Kiren Rijiju Comments on Sam Pitroda’s Re-Appointment

On June 27, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju commented on the re-appointment of Sam Pitroda as the Chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress. Rijiju mentioned that Prime Minister Modi had predicted this development.

Sam Pitroda was re-appointed with the assurance that he would avoid making controversial statements in the future. Rijiju shared a post on X, highlighting past controversial remarks made by Pitroda about different regions of India.

Rijiju also shared an old video of Prime Minister Modi, suggesting that Pitroda’s controversial statements are part of a strategy by the Congress party to create new issues in the country.

Earlier, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh stated that Pitroda was re-appointed on the condition that he would not make statements leading to controversies. Ramesh explained that Pitroda had resigned earlier due to unacceptable comments but later clarified his statements.

Indian Overseas Congress Secretary Virendra Vashist welcomed Pitroda’s re-appointment, praising him as a key figure in India’s communication revolution and a true Gandhian.
