Khalid Jamil Extends Contract with Jamshedpur FC Until 2025-26

Indian Super League (ISL) team Jamshedpur FC announced that head coach Khalid Jamil has signed a two-year extension, keeping him with the club until the 2025-26 season. Jamil, 47, took charge midseason and managed ten ISL games in the 2023-24 season, securing three wins and three draws.

After a challenging start under previous coach Scott Cooper, Jamil made an immediate impact, leading the team to the semi-finals of the 2024 Kalinga Super Cup and a five-match unbeaten streak in the league. Jamil is optimistic about the upcoming ISL season and aims to bring positive outcomes.

Jamil expressed his gratitude and excitement, stating, “We want to win the ISL. Our fans deserve it for their tremendous support. We are forming a team that will give their all in every training session and match.”

Jamshedpur FC’s CEO, Mukul Choudhari, praised Jamil’s track record and commitment, saying, “His involvement provides stability and clarity for the future. We are already working hard on preparations for the upcoming ISL season.”
