KC Tyagi Defends NDA Government and Bihar’s Anti-Corruption Stance

On Friday, JD(U) leader KC Tyagi refuted claims by former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav that the NDA government might fall soon. Tyagi asserted that the government, supported by JD(U) and TDP, will endure beyond 2029.

Tyagi also addressed remarks by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, highlighting Bihar’s uncompromising stance on corruption. He pointed to actions taken against engineers after multiple bridge collapses as evidence of this commitment.

Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi attributed the bridge collapses to heavy monsoon rains and defended Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s actions against negligent officials. Tyagi echoed these sentiments, noting similar incidents in other states.

In Hathras, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi visited families affected by a recent stampede and urged Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath to provide fair compensation. Tyagi supported Gandhi’s call for increased financial assistance to the victims.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan criticized Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren for replacing tribal leader Champai Soren with himself, accusing him of ‘Parivarvad’. Tyagi agreed, stating that the move reeked of ‘Parivarvad’.
