KC Tyagi Criticizes Akhilesh Yadav Over Ayodhya Incident
New Delhi [India], August 4: KC Tyagi, a leader from Janata Dal (United), criticized Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav regarding the Ayodhya gang rape case. Tyagi urged Yadav not to protect anyone until the investigation is complete. He said, “Everybody knows about Akhilesh Yadav’s sentiments; he should not try to save anybody till the probe is completed.”
A BJP delegation led by Rajya Sabha MP Baburam Nishad met the victim’s family in Ayodhya. Nishad stated, “We spoke to the victim’s mother and will submit the report to the national leadership. Our Uttar Pradesh government will not spare the accused. I request CM Yogi Adityanath to increase the financial aid from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.”
BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla also criticized Yadav, saying, “Akhilesh Yadav is now silent on the matter. He demanded a DNA test. Isn’t he trying to give a clean chit to the accused? The goons of the Samajwadi Party threatened the victim’s family. PDA has been sidelined in front of the vote bank.”
Earlier, Akhilesh Yadav urged the court to ensure the victim’s safety and called for DNA tests on the accused. He said, “The government should ensure the best medical care for the rape victim. I request the Honorable Court to take suo motu cognizance of the situation and ensure the victim’s safety.”
