Kashmir Police Denies Rumors of Non-Local Workers Being Pressured to Leave After Ganderbal Attack

In the wake of a tragic attack in Ganderbal, where a doctor and six non-local workers were killed by terrorists, rumors surfaced on social media suggesting that local authorities were urging non-local laborers to leave the area. However, the Kashmir Zone Police has refuted these claims, emphasizing their commitment to ensuring safety and security for everyone in the region.

In response to the attack, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah visited the family of Dr. Shahnawaz Dar, one of the victims, to offer condolences. Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary also met with the family of another victim, Shashi Bhushan Abrol, to express sympathies and assure them of the government’s dedication to addressing their concerns and combating terrorism.

Choudhary stated, “I met the father of the man, and I expressed my condolences… CM Omar Abdullah sent us here, so you can understand how hurt he is by this attack.
