Mysuru (Karnataka) [India], August 9: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has claimed that he was informed by officials about de-notification cases against Union Minister and Janata Dal-Secular leader HD Kumaraswamy. Speaking at the Janandolana event in Mysuru, Shivakumar said, “Kumaraswamy claims himself to be ‘Clean Swamy’ but officials have told me that he has 50 cases of de-notification against him. I will expose his corruption.”

Shivakumar mentioned that the Lokayukta has written to the Governor regarding the matter and alleged that Kumaraswamy has taken refuge in the BJP because of these allegations. He also criticized Kumaraswamy for not allowing other leaders to grow within the JDS party and accused him of backstabbing former Karnataka Chief Minister Yediyurappa.

Shivakumar further highlighted the 2023 state assembly election results, stating that the people of Karnataka gave Congress 43 percent of the votes in 2023 and 45 percent in 2024. He asserted that Congress will rule Karnataka for another 10 years, dismissing any attempts by Kumaraswamy to destabilize the government.

Addressing the MUDA case, Shivakumar clarified that there was no irregularity and that the compensation received by the CM’s wife was due to MUDA’s mistake. He accused the BJP and JDS of trying to manufacture a scam in MUDA while having their own history of scams.

Shivakumar also mentioned the Congress party’s past efforts against the Bellary mining scams and criticized the BJP and JDS for their current actions. He emphasized that the Congress party, under the leadership of Mallikarjun Kharge, is fully behind CM Siddaramaiah and will continue to protect the interests of all sections of society.
