Shivakumar emphasized the need to strengthen Mallikarjun Kharge’s leadership, with a focus on the 2028 and 2029 elections. He compared politics to chess, stating his expertise in strategic planning. He encouraged women party workers to organize at local levels, citing Rajiv Gandhi’s introduction of 50% reservation for women in local elections.

Addressing the challenges women face in politics, Shivakumar introduced the ‘Na Nayaki’ program to promote women leaders. He mentioned the allocation of six seats to women in recent Lok Sabha elections and stressed that hard work will be rewarded. He also discussed the Congress’s five guarantee schemes, designed with women in mind, and the decision to reserve leadership positions for women.
