The government has already initiated development works worth Rs 300 crore, including the sanctioning of 5000 houses, with 100-150 houses allocated per Panchayat. Efforts to improve canals and tanks are also underway, with District in-charge Minister Ramalinga Reddy laying the foundation for these projects.

Regarding the upcoming bye-elections for the Channapatna Assembly constituency, Shivakumar stated that the focus is not on selecting a candidate at the moment. He urged party workers to support the party as if he were the candidate, emphasizing unity and commitment to the party’s success.

When questioned about the FIR against Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy for alleged extortion, Shivakumar mentioned he was occupied with the Dasara inauguration and had not followed the news. He chose not to comment further on the issue.
