Karnataka Congress leader BK Hariprasad expressed confidence that the INDIA bloc will win the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana. He stated, “The INDIA bloc will sweep the J&K and Haryana assembly elections.”
Election Details
The third and final phase of voting in Jammu and Kashmir will take place on October 1, with the counting of votes scheduled for October 8. Haryana will go to the polls on October 5 to elect a 90-member state legislative assembly, with the counting also set for October 8.
MUDA Scam Allegations Against CM Siddaramaiah
Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is facing allegations in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land allotment scam. An FIR has been filed against him, his wife, brother-in-law, and others. The FIR includes various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), such as 351, 420, 340, 09, and 120B.
Despite the allegations, CM Siddaramaiah has stated that he will not back down and that his conscience remains clear as long as he has the support of the people. The BJP has accused the Congress party of supporting corrupt leaders and has demanded Siddaramaiah’s resignation.
