Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and Son Accused in MUDA Land Case

A complaint has been filed against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his son, Yathindra Siddaramaiah, accusing them of tampering with evidence related to 14 land sites in the MUDA case. Pradeep Kumar, who lodged the complaint, claims that Siddaramaiah misused his position for personal gain. The complaint was sent to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Governor of Karnataka.

Pradeep Kumar alleges that Siddaramaiah, during his tenure as Leader of the Opposition and as Chief Minister, illegally acquired land sites. He also accuses Siddaramaiah of using his official position to destroy evidence.

Activist Snehamayi Krishna, involved in the MUDA scam case, appeared before the ED with documents related to his complaint. He claims that the MUDA case involves thousands of crores of rupees and has requested a thorough investigation.

Following the ED’s booking of Siddaramaiah for money laundering, his wife offered to surrender the 14 plots allotted to her by MUDA. The Mysuru Lokayukta has initiated an inquiry into the case, investigating allegations of illegal land allotment to Siddaramaiah’s wife, Parvathi.
