In Bengaluru, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of attempting to destabilize the government by offering Rs 50 crores to 50 Congress MLAs. Siddaramaiah stated that these efforts by the BJP were unsuccessful and emphasized that no Congress MLA would switch sides.

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar mentioned that discussions with the Chief Minister would take place before addressing the media further. State Minister Ramalinga Reddy claimed that the BJP has been trying for six months without success, and accused them of making false allegations against the Congress party and Siddaramaiah.

State Minister KN Rajanna supported the Chief Minister’s claims, while State Minister Dr. M C Sudhakar noted that poaching MLAs is not new for the BJP. He mentioned that since Congress came to power, the BJP has been predicting the government’s downfall. Dr. Sharan Prakash Patil added that the BJP has a history of such actions, having previously attempted to topple the government by purchasing MLAs.
