Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah Visits Morarji Desai Residential School in Bengaluru

Karnataka Chief Minister K Siddaramaiah made a surprise visit to Morarji Desai Residential School in Chamarajpet, Bengaluru. He promised to provide more necessary infrastructure to residential schools in the state. During his visit, he interacted with the students and emphasized that residential schools offer better quality education compared to other schools.

He mentioned that there are 833 residential schools in Karnataka, and well-equipped buildings are being constructed for all of them in phases. The government is also converting all Ashram schools into residential schools. These schools provide free meals, accommodation, and coaching in English, Science, and Mathematics.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah also shared that he had food and sambar with the students. The Morarji Desai Residential School in Chamarajpet currently has 218 students.

Additionally, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar will meet party workers and office bearers on July 6 at the party office on Queens Road to address their issues. The meeting is strictly for party workers and office bearers and will be held on a first-come, first-serve basis.
