Karachi Faces More Gas Shortages Due to BRT Project

Karachi is experiencing severe gas shortages, worsened by the temporary suspension of gas supply in certain areas due to the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project’s relocation of a gas pipeline. The suspension will affect Gulistan-e-Johar Blocks 1, 2, 3, 14, and 15 from 11 PM to 4 AM.

Residents are already struggling with low gas pressure, and some are resorting to cooking on wood stoves. Complaints are rising as the situation worsens.
