On September 17, Kandhkot local police in Pakistan successfully rescued 37 people, including ten women and five children, from the jurisdiction of the Badani police station. The victims had been lured to the Katcha region of Kashmore district in Sindh province under false pretenses of employment opportunities.

Authorities acted swiftly upon receiving information, intercepting the victims’ journey and safely transporting them to the SSP office. This rescue operation was reported by ARY News.

Earlier, the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, announced a bounty of Rs 10 million on the heads of dacoits in the Katcha region. This initiative is part of a broader campaign against criminals, especially those involved in violent crimes against law enforcement.

The government has also offered a reward of Rs 5 million for capturing the most wanted bandits and Rs 2.5 million for the arrest of terrorists and other criminals. Maryam Nawaz emphasized the government’s commitment to prosecuting terrorists who have targeted law enforcement officers.
