In Assam’s Dibrugarh district, the engine and a coach of the Kamrup Express train detached on Tuesday evening. The incident happened between Lahowal and Chaulkhowa. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported.

Sabyasachi De, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Northeast Frontier Railway, confirmed that the engine and coach were reattached, and the train resumed its journey.

Earlier, on July 6, two coaches of the Panchvati Express decoupled near Kasara station while heading to Mumbai. The issue was quickly resolved, and the train continued its journey without any injuries or further damage.
