Washington, DC [US], July 22: Vice President Kamala Harris quickly moved to gather support for her White House bid after President Joe Biden announced he would not seek re-election. On Sunday, Harris met with key figures on Capitol Hill, including Rep Pramila Jayapal, Rep Nanette Barragan, and Rep Ann McLane Kuster, who have all endorsed her.
Rep. Mark Pocan shared his excitement on social media, saying, “She is ready to win in Wisconsin!” Rep Jared Huffman also confirmed his support, noting that Harris’s team is fully activated and ready to go. He described the campaign’s momentum as “taking off like a rocket ship.”

Major Democratic PACs, including the AAPI Victory Fund, the Collective PAC, and the Latino Victory Fund, also endorsed Harris, showing a broadening coalition of support. The Biden campaign infrastructure is quickly shifting to support Harris’s efforts.
With less than a month until the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Harris faces a crucial moment. Rep. Jayapal reiterated her strong support for Harris, declaring, “I am 1000 per cent in for her to be our president!
