K Keshava Rao Returns to Congress, Resigns from Rajya Sabha

K Keshava Rao, a former leader of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), has rejoined the Congress party and resigned as a Rajya Sabha member. Rao’s return was marked by a welcome from party leaders including Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

“Worthy homecoming! We welcome senior leader, Shri K. Keshav Rao ji to the Congress party. We are confident that his vast experience in public service will strengthen the Congress party in Telangana,” Kharge said in a post on ‘X’ on Wednesday.

Rao, a former chief of Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee, had joined BRS in 2013 and has now returned to Congress after over a decade.
