Jyotiraditya Scindia Responds to Sanjay Raut’s Remarks on Ladli Behna Yojana
In Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia addressed comments made by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut regarding the Ladli Behna Yojana. Scindia urged the women of Madhya Pradesh to respond to Raut’s criticism, emphasizing the scheme’s role in empowering women. Raut had claimed that the Ladli Behna Yojana failed in Madhya Pradesh and criticized it as a political maneuver. In response, Scindia highlighted the scheme’s success in Maharashtra, where four installments have been distributed.
Additionally, Scindia commented on the Union Cabinet’s decision to continue providing free Fortified Rice under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) from July 2024 to December 2028. He stated that the initiative aims to ensure every Indian has access to nutritious grains, supporting the country’s development.
