Despite Justice Ahmed’s request for reconsideration, the Collegium upheld its decision. The transfer was proposed on August 21 and was confirmed after consultations with various judicial authorities.

Justice Ahmed was first appointed as an Additional Judge of the Allahabad High Court on December 12, 2019, and became a permanent judge on March 26, 2021. He has practiced law since 1993, specializing in civil, constitutional, service, labor, company, and criminal laws.
