JP Nadda Urges Jharkhand to Support BJP in Upcoming Elections
In Giridih, Jharkhand, BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda addressed a public rally ahead of the assembly polls. He emphasized the achievements of the BJP-led NDA government and criticized the opposition parties, including Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress, and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), for corruption and familial politics. Nadda highlighted the importance of tribal leader Bhawan Bisra Munda and urged the people of Jharkhand to support the BJP-NDA government.
Nadda praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for integrating Jharkhand into the mainstream and credited former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the creation of the state. He also mentioned the celebration of Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary as Adivasi Gaurav Diwas.
Earlier, BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad accused the Congress party of collaborating with conservative elements within the Muslim community to secure votes in the upcoming Jharkhand and Maharashtra elections. He expressed confidence in BJP’s victory.
The first phase of the Jharkhand elections is set for Wednesday, with the second phase on November 20, and vote counting on November 23. In the last election, JMM won 30 seats, BJP 25, and Congress 16.
