JP Nadda Pays Tribute to Rani Durgavati and Criticizes Congress in Raipur

Union Minister and BJP president JP Nadda paid floral tribute to Rani Durgavati in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai was also present at the event. Rani Durgavati was a brave queen of Gondwana in the 16th century who fought against the Mughals.

Earlier, Nadda criticized the Congress party, accusing it of supporting urban naxalism and disintegrative forces. He also condemned the Congress and National Conference alliance in Jammu and Kashmir, which seeks to restore Article 370, allowing two constitutions in India.

Nadda highlighted that BJP, under PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, successfully abrogated Article 370 in 2019, making Jammu and Kashmir fully part of India. He pointed out that refugees from Pakistan could not vote in J-K due to Article 370, unlike leaders like Manmohan Singh and Lal Krishna Advani who held prominent positions in Indian politics.

Nadda emphasized BJP’s commitment to democracy and transparency, contrasting it with Congress’s lack of membership drives. He noted that BJP is the only national, democratic, and ideological party in India, with a strong cadre base and mass following. He also mentioned that PM Modi launched BJP’s 2024 membership drive by renewing his membership on September 2 in New Delhi.
