JP Nadda Launches Parivartan Yatra in Khunti to Protect Tribal Rights
Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda addressed the Parivartan Sabha in Khunti, Jharkhand, emphasizing the ‘parivartan yatra’ aims to uphold the rights of tribal communities, safeguard women’s rights, protect them against land grabbing, and take strong action against those who have deceived them.
Addressing a public rally, Nadda said, “This Parivartan Yatra is a resolve to safeguard the rights of our innocent tribal brothers, a resolve to protect our mothers and daughters. This Parivartan Yatra is a journey to protect those who are trying to usurp the lands of the tribal brothers and to assure you that action will be taken against those who have cheated them.”
He also criticized the Hemant Soren-led JMM government, stating, “When JMM talks about ‘Adivasi Asmita,’ their ‘Asmita’ is restricted to their own family. Is Champai Soren, not a tribal leader? Is Sita Soren, not a tribal leader? Why were they humiliated? It is only the BJP that will protect the interests of tribal people.”
Nadda highlighted PM Modi’s initiatives, including celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda as ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh’ and making Droupadi Murmu the first tribal woman President of India.
Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also criticized the JMM government, urging the public to vote for BJP for transformative changes. The Parivartan Yatra is part of a larger campaign ahead of the upcoming state elections.
