New Delhi, India – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda has called for Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to apologize for his remarks in the Lok Sabha. Nadda accused Gandhi of spreading lies and showing hatred towards Hindus, stating that Gandhi has not learned from the 2024 Lok Sabha election results.

Home Minister Amit Shah also demanded an apology from Gandhi, criticizing his comments about the Hindu community. Nadda posted on social media, “First day, worst show! Lies + Hindu hatred = Rahul Gandhi Ji in Parliament. Third Time Fail LoP has a knack for agitated, flawed logic.”

Nadda further alleged that Gandhi has not learned parliamentary norms and lacks civility. He accused Gandhi of making false claims about farmers and the armed forces, which were fact-checked by Union Ministers.

During the debate on the President’s Address, Gandhi accused the BJP-led government of attacking the idea of India and the Constitution. He claimed that those who resisted this were personally attacked and some leaders were jailed.

Gandhi also stated that the BJP is not representative of the entire Hindu society and criticized the Agniveer scheme. In response, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of taking the Leader of Opposition seriously in a democracy.
