Earlier in the day, Nadda and Singh visited the Raghunath Temple in Jammu and offered prayers. They were welcomed by Martand Singh, grandson of Karan Singh and Trustee of J&K Dharmarth Trust.

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy mentioned that they are conducting a review after the Lok Sabha elections and will discuss upcoming BJP programs in the Union Territory.

The Supreme Court has set a timeline for the first Assembly election in J&K since its special status was revoked in 2019, with elections likely in September. The last Assembly election in the erstwhile state was held in 2014.
