JJP and Azad Samaj Party Announce Candidates for Haryana Elections

The Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) and Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) have announced their alliance and released a list of 19 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. Dushyant Chautala will contest from Uchana and Digvijay Chautala from Dabwali.

The alliance will contest all 90 seats, with JJP fielding candidates in 70 and ASP in 20. Voting is scheduled for October 5, and the results will be announced on October 8. The BJP and Congress are also preparing for the elections.

In the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, JJP received only 0.87% of the vote share, with no seats won. In the 2019 elections, the BJP formed a coalition government with JJP, but the alliance was dissolved earlier this year. Haryana is expected to see a four-way contest between BJP, Congress, JJP, and AAP in 2024.
