Woman and Relatives Booked Under POSCO Act
In Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, a woman and her two relatives have been booked under the POSCO act for allegedly filing a false gang rape case. Jhansi SSP Rajesh S informed that the woman claimed she was kidnapped and raped in a moving car. However, police investigations, including CCTV footage, revealed a different story.
According to Jhansi SSP Rajesh S, the woman was seen alone in the footage, contradicting her initial claims. After further investigation, the woman confessed that the story was fabricated to trap two people. Her aunt and cousin were also involved in the plot.
The woman had planned to run away with a boy and had even purchased jewelry for the occasion. She waited for the boy at a fort but returned to her aunt’s house when he did not show up.
