In Patna, Bihar, JDU MLC Dr. Khalid Anwar shared insights on the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections. Although the Janata Dal-United initially aimed to contest more seats, they chose to focus on just two to prioritize the state’s development. Anwar emphasized the importance of these elections and noted the public’s support for the NDA.

The elections for Jharkhand’s 81 Assembly seats are scheduled in two phases on November 13 and 20, with vote counting on November 23.

Addressing the arrest of IAS officer Sanjeev Hans in a money laundering case, Anwar highlighted Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s unwavering stance against corruption, crime, and communalism. He assured that if Hans is found guilty, the government will not protect him, supporting agencies fighting corruption.

Anwar also commented on Union Minister Giriraj Singh’s ‘Hindu Swabhiman Yatra’, expressing relief that the BJP distanced itself from Singh’s extremist views. He praised the BJP for maintaining Bihar’s spirit of brotherhood and warned against divisive attempts, affirming that Nitish Kumar’s government will not tolerate such actions.

Anwar concluded by stating that the BJP leadership is monitoring Giriraj’s activities and is capable of taking necessary actions.
