Jay Shah Visits Tirumala Temple and Inaugurates New Cricket Academy in Bengaluru
Jay Shah, the Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), visited the Tirumala Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. Dressed in traditional attire, he offered prayers and was honored by the temple officials. The temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, a form of Lord Vishnu.
Earlier in the day, Jay Shah inaugurated the new National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. This state-of-the-art facility, now known as the BCCI Centre of Excellence, aims to nurture the future of cricket. Shah highlighted the importance of the facility in advancing sports science and providing comprehensive training for athletes.
