Star Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has become the second-highest wicket-taker for India in a single edition of the T20 World Cup. Bumrah’s impressive performance against England in the semi-final saw him take two crucial wickets, bringing his total to 13 wickets in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Arshdeep Singh, another Indian pacer, holds the record for the highest wickets in a single T20 World Cup edition for India, with 15 wickets. Although Arshdeep did not take any wickets in his two-over spell against England, his overall performance in the tournament has been remarkable.

In the semi-final match, England won the toss and chose to bowl first. Indian batsmen Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav led the charge, scoring 57 and 47 runs respectively, helping India reach a total of 171/7. Contributions from Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja further bolstered the score.

England struggled during their run chase, managing only 103 runs in 16.4 overs. Harry Brook and Jos Buttler were the only notable performers for England. Indian bowlers Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav each took three wickets, while Bumrah added two more to his tally, securing a 68-run victory for India.

The final of the T20 World Cup will see India face South Africa in Barbados on Saturday, with both teams remaining unbeaten in the tournament so far.
