On August 24-25, more than 50 devotees of Lord Murugan from Japan participated in the Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference held in Palani, Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu. The event aims to unite devotees and promote the philosophy of Lord Murugan.

The Shri Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple in Palani was beautifully decorated with colorful lights for the occasion. The conference was inaugurated by Sekar Babu and Minister R Sakkarapani.
