Jammu Police Seize Houses of Drug Peddlers Javed Ahmed and Abdul Majeed

Jammu Police have taken strict action against drug peddlers by seizing two residential houses worth crores. The drug peddlers, identified as Javed Ahmed and his son Abdul Majeed, had their properties attached under Section 68-F (1) of the NDPS Act 1985.

According to an official release, investigations revealed that the properties were acquired through proceeds from the narcotics trade. The properties were valued at Rs 1 crore, 4 lakh, and 71 thousand by a board of engineers from the Revenue and R&B Department.

In the past five months, Jammu Police have also frozen four other properties worth crores in Rajeev Nagar and Ragoora areas. The entire operation was supervised by SSP Jammu.

Local citizens and netizens have praised the police’s initiative to seize properties acquired through illicit drug trafficking in Jammu.
