Jammu Court Sends Yatin Yadav to ED Custody in JKSSB SI Paper Leak Case

The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) in Jammu has obtained a 7-day remand for Yatin Yadav, the mastermind behind the JKSSB SI paper leak. Yadav was arrested on June 24 and produced before the Special Court (PMLA) on June 25, which sent him into ED custody until July 2.

Details of the Case

The investigation revealed that Yadav conspired with others to leak the exam paper for monetary benefits. The exam, conducted on March 27, 2022, was for the recruitment of 1200 Sub-Inspectors of J&K Police. Payments for the leaked paper ranged from Rs. 15 Lakh to Rs. 30 Lakh.

Financial Transactions

Funds were collected mainly via cash and bank account transfers from the aspirants. These funds were routed through bank accounts related to Yatin Yadav and his firm, M/s New Global Fumigation Corporation. The ED had earlier attached movable properties worth approximately Rs. 1 Crore under the PMLA, 2002.
