Jammu and Kashmir Police Find Old Weapons in Reasi

The Jammu and Kashmir Police have found old, rusted arms and ammunition in a terrorist hideout in the Reasi district. The items recovered include 30 rounds of AK-47, one magazine of an AK-47 rifle, and one HE-36 hand grenade.

Search Operation in Mahore Sub Division

Acting on reliable information, the Reasi Police launched a cordon and search operation in the Mahore Sub Division. The operation was led by the Police Component Shikari and Deputy Superintendent of Police PC Sarh Mahore in the Dalantop area of Mahore.

SSP Reasi, Mohita Sharma, emphasized the importance of taking all possible measures to thwart the plans of anti-national elements. Further investigations are ongoing.

Indian Army Stops Terrorists at LoC

In another incident, the Indian Army successfully eliminated three foreign terrorists attempting to infiltrate across the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keran Sector of Kupwara District. The operation took place on the night of July 13-14, based on credible intelligence inputs.

Brigadier NR Kulkarni, Commander of the 268th Infantry Brigade, Keran Sector, stated that the terrorists were heavily armed, well-trained, and equipped with sophisticated weaponry. A detailed search of the area led to the recovery of large quantities of war-like stores.
