Jammu and Kashmir Police Conducts Search Operations After Terror Attack

Jammu and Kashmir Police, led by SP-SOG Guru Ram Bhardwaj, are conducting search operations in Kathua and Samba districts following a terror attack that killed five Army soldiers on July 8. Bhardwaj emphasized the necessity of these operations to ensure safety, especially in border areas.

The attack, attributed to attempts by Pakistan to disrupt peace, occurred on the Machedi-KindliMalhar road, a known infiltration route. The area is monitored by the BSF and the Army’s 9 Corps under the Western Command.
