Jammu and Kashmir Police Attach Properties of Pakistan-Based Terror Handlers in Baramulla

Jammu and Kashmir police have attached properties worth Rs 1 crore belonging to five Pakistan-based terror handlers in Baramulla. The properties included nine Kanals of land and were attached under sections of 83 CRPC, linked with case FIR No.04/2008.

Details of the Terror Handlers

The five terror handlers identified are Bashir Ahmad Ganie, Mehraj ud din Lone, Ghulam Mohd Yatoo, Ab Rehman Bhat, and Ab Rashid Lone. The action was taken during an investigation by the Jammu and Kashmir police, and further probe into the matter is ongoing.

Encounter in Doda District

Meanwhile, three terrorists were neutralized in an encounter with security forces in the Gandoh, Bhaderwah sector of district Doda. ADGP Jammu Anand Jain stated that stricter actions will be taken against those who provided habitation to the terrorists and urged people to help the police administration.

Search Operations and Security Assurances

ADGP Anand Jain mentioned the presence of new terror groups in the area and ongoing search operations. He assured that there is no threat to the Amarnath Yatra and that investigations are underway to find the terrorists whose sketches were issued.
