In Jammu and Kashmir, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary has urged the security forces to adopt stronger measures following recent terror incidents in the region. He emphasized the sacrifices made by the National Conference, noting that many leaders and workers have lost their lives for peace.

Condemnation of Terror Attacks

Deputy CM Choudhary expressed his sorrow over the attacks and stated that the government will not tolerate such violence. He called for a change in security policies to prevent further loss of life.

Recent Incidents in Kishtwar

The Deputy CM’s comments came after the Kishtwar encounter, where Naib Subedar Rakesh Kumar of 2 Para (SF) was killed. Additionally, two Village Defence Guards, Nazir Ahmed and Kuldeep Kumar, were abducted and killed by terrorists. Their bodies were found in a forest area in Kishtwar.

Surge in Terror Attacks

There has been an increase in terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir. Recently, a terrorist was neutralized in Sopore, and earlier, a doctor and six workers were killed in an attack on a construction site in Ganderbal.
