In Jammu and Kashmir, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary has urged the security forces to adopt stronger measures following recent terror incidents in the region. Recent Incidents in Kishtwar
The Deputy CM’s comments came after the Kishtwar encounter, where Naib Subedar Rakesh Kumar of 2 Para (SF) was killed. Additionally, two Village Defence Guards, Nazir Ahmed and Kuldeep Kumar, were abducted and killed by terrorists. Their bodies were found in a forest area in Kishtwar.
Surge in Terror Attacks
There has been an increase in terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir. Recently, a terrorist was neutralized in Sopore, and earlier, a doctor and six workers were killed in an attack on a construction site in Ganderbal.
