Jairam Thakur Confident BJP Will Win All By-Elections in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], June 25: Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jairam Thakur, stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is receiving full support from the people of Himachal Pradesh. He expressed confidence that the BJP would win all the upcoming assembly by-elections.

Thakur criticized the current Congress government, saying it has failed on every front, including neglecting farmers, youth, and gardeners, and stalling the state’s development. He noted that the Congress party lost 61 out of 68 seats in the recent Lok Sabha elections, indicating a loss of popularity.

Thakur thanked the central leadership for reducing GST on cartons, which he said would benefit gardeners. He emphasized that the people are ready for change and will vote against the government’s dictatorial actions in the upcoming by-elections.

He also mentioned that the Congress government is known for its dictatorial actions and referenced the anniversary of the emergency imposed by Congress as a dark chapter in the country’s history.
