Jairam Ramesh Questions Election Commission’s Vote Counting Updates in Haryana

In New Delhi, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has raised concerns about the delay in updating the Haryana Assembly election results on the Election Commission’s website. He suggested that the BJP might be trying to influence the administration by sharing outdated trends. Ramesh announced plans to file a complaint, noting that while results from 10-11 rounds were available, only 4-5 rounds were updated online.

Ramesh urged supporters not to lose hope, asserting that Congress would form the government. He also wrote to the Election Commission, requesting immediate updates to prevent misleading narratives. As of noon, the BJP was leading in 49 seats, Congress in 35, with other parties and independents leading in a few seats. Despite exit polls predicting a Congress win, the BJP seemed set for another victory.
