Israeli Strikes in Lebanon: 50 Dead, Over 300 Injured

At least 50 people were killed and more than 300 others were injured in Israeli attacks across Lebanon since this morning, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry. The victims included children, women, and paramedics.

The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) announced that it struck about 300 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. The IDF warned people to move away from homes used by Hezbollah to store weapons. The strikes were carried out by dozens of fighter jets from all the IAF’s squadrons.

Israel’s Defence Minister Yoav Gallant attended an assessment on the homefront’s preparedness amid the widening conflict. He urged the public to show composure, discipline, and full obedience to instructions by the Home Front Command.

A shepherd and two members of his family were among the casualties in the eastern Beqaa Valley region. The IDF used text messages and phone calls to warn Lebanese civilians to distance themselves from Hezbollah sites. IDF Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated that Hezbollah is lying to the people and sacrificing them for its missiles and drones.
