In Tel Aviv, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have released new footage showing the death of Yahya Sinwar, a Hamas leader involved in the October 7 attacks. Sinwar and two other terrorists were killed by Israeli soldiers in Rafah. His identity was confirmed through DNA and dental records from his previous imprisonment.
Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, IDF Spokesman, shared that Sinwar was filmed on October 6 preparing for survival by moving into an underground bunker with his family. The footage shows him carrying supplies for a long-term stay. Hagari criticized Hamas leaders for using Gaza residents as human shields while focusing on their own safety.
Sinwar was known to move between Khan Yunis and Rafah, and despite rumors, he never fled to Egypt. The IDF had been monitoring him for months, and after his death, some tried to restore his honor.
